LONDON

Quick and productive trip to London - Great men's event Saturday hosted by Emmanuel Christian Centre with Pastor Doug Williams - many local pastors there, great response and great results... CMN-UK Director Felix Ajaya was very excited about response in that meeting, the Sunday events, and meetings with leaders during the weekend... London is a pivotal city, crossroads of the world - met with UK leader Dr. Rod Anderson (CMN Board) and good friend Robin Hancox (in from Atlanta) - we set the stage for future growth with great times of strategy and planning... (if you are going through London in '08 let us know, we need you to meet with pastors and churches in the area... God has opened a very effective strategy to us there...)
Pastor Doug Williams told me he was "signing on" - wants to be a key part of the men's movement in UK and Europe - Pastor Doug is top leader in the UK, speaks at many major conferences in Europe, has met with private group of world-leaders with Bill Hybels, he will be major influence in the UK and beyond...
computer broke down as I left Dallas, that was difficult...will send report tomorrow about Rob Hrabak's ministry in Chile and John Arana was just in Nicaragua... lots going on - '08 will be spectacular! Keep praying for the Global Momentum Tour!
getting on another plane, grace/peace paul.

Invested Thanksgiving holiday into the children of Juarez, Mexico

Great way to say "Thanks" for the blessings of God is to help those who are in poverty...we did that with a team from our church over the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday - took 1,000 pairs of shoes to children living in some of the roughest parts of the border town of Juarez, Mexico. Partnering with some wonderful churches, some missing a wall, some without adequate roofing, but all filled with wonderful people - one single mom with 7 children told one of our team, these shoes were the first Christmas presents her children will have ever received in their lives...amazing...humbling.
We did cake and cokes for the kids, hair and face painting - had many salvations and the churches were greatly blessed - by giving them the shoes, they become the source of help for many families in the weeks to come...that's really significant...
Led by one of our young leaders, Pablo Contreras, "Hope for the Sole" is now becoming a well known outreach across Juarez, many of the evening outreaches were filled with guests... at one church we gave pizzas to over 200 people - many of them first time guests - the pastor was elated! (seems the local radio station heard about us, and got the word out) This is an example of staying after a vision - 6 years ago we made pancakes for the children in the dump, 5 years ago we sent 75 pairs of shoes, 3 years ago I drove down with just me and Pablo and 200 pairs of shoes, last year we took 350 pairs and 16 people, this year 1,000 pairs and 24 people! Next year? Help us with the shoes! We'll have details out in February... and, the new video from this outreach will be on our church website by next week... www.hopechurch.tv - you can see last years outreach on there now... (we hit snow, sleet, highways filled with wrecks - 9hr. drive took 12 - team hung tough... proud of them!)
off to London in the morning - grace and peace to you - paul

Honduras!

CMN Board member Pastor John Arana from Arlington just completed events in Honduras... he reports, "The trip was magnificent! Bottom line, we had 300 pastors and Church leaders. Taught on Pattern of God for Ministry; God disciples Pastor, Pastor disciples man and the man disciples his family. Taught on Max Man 5 sins and "Man the Image of God" from CS&M.
Paul, They were mesmerized, with the teaching. It was like they had found gold! I made an altar call and 80% of them came forward for prayer and healing of their families and ministries. Pastors and leaders were weeping, broken before God as I saw with my very eyes how the word was healing them, setting them free from their failures and giving them a new hope and strategy for ministry." Isn't that a great report!? And John is headed to Guatemala today and Nicaragua next month. Let's keep it going! grace/peace - paul.

Orlando-NCMM

Over 50 top leaders of the men's movement met for couple days this week in Orlando - leaders from major denominations, servant ministries, writers and publishers...(National Coalition of Men's Ministries) we have been meeting in an intimate executive session like this every year for over a decade - being brothers - united in heart and purpose. Great friendships have been established here, tremendous ministries to men have started here - we have met in the mountains, at retreat centers, but always with a heart to help each other, encourage each other and see the hearts of men transformed!

CMN is one of the few ministries that is global in focus and execution... they all wanted to hear what we were doing around the world - great report and I trust it will provoke some of the men to go to the nations!! - and I met with Larry Malone, head of the men's ministry for the Methodist Churches around the world - shot a video with him - he's a great ally and friend - we will be working with the Methodist men in a global context - I believe God is opening doors for us in every nation of the world - here we go!

100 Cities! 6 Continents! 15 Months!

Leaving Argentina with important thought - The Global MoMENtum Tour is about impartation - you can transmit information - but you must impart the anointing.
The video "Why We Go" will be at the right...click on it...an explanation of why it's important to connect relationally with leaders around the world...
The Apostle Paul wrote letters, but always sent men with them - Momentum is the result of an anointed constancy of purpose... grace/peace - paul

Breakthrough Meetings - Argentina

Met with largest publisher of Christian Books in Latin America...please pray - this could solve the need for spanish books not only in Latin America but in the United States also - we have had a very difficult time accessing books for the spanish speaking men, and in the U.S. alone there are over 50 churches right now that need the books and curriculum to start mentoring their men!

This could be huge - in Argentina alone, there are over 400 churches that have expressed interest - this needs to happen... where the men in Peru were able get materials into Argentina the results have been spectacular! Next November in Argentina we will commission over 100 men - THAT'S CIEN HOMBRES! It's miraculous - and all of them having gone through over 3 years of training - Pastor Adrian Juniors and our rep. in Rosario, Renee, have done an amazing job of seeding the ground - and now it's time for a harvest! Pray over the book publishing stuff, we are in transcontinental phone conferences on it over the weekend...
great stuff! grace/peace - paul

Buenos Aires

Photo of leading Buenos Aires Pastor Rodolfo Pronesti with Ps. Robert Barriger and Bishop Dale Bronner - Great results from the first set of meetings in B.A... now to another set of meetings with Pastor Adrian Juniors... over 100 pastors, political leaders and military leaders in special private event this evening...then, great meeting at the church...tremendous response to the word - services over at 11p, then they took us out to eat! Back to hotel after 2am - and cafes in area still full of people - never seen place stay up as late...
Bishop Bronner and Ps. Barriger are laying down strong fundamental teaching that is bringing great results - FACING BIG CHALLENGE! We must get books and materials through all of Latin America - if we had enough funds to get them out, we would have thousands of men in curriculum in Argentina - Pastor Adrian is working on publishing here in Buenos Aires - pray that he is able to get that done! grace/peace - paul.

Over 300 pastors gathered in Buenos Aires... Pastor Robert Barriger from Lima, heads up CMN in South America - Bishop Dale Bronner, Chairman of CMN and myself in conference led by key local pastor Rv. Rodolfo Pronesa... great results and feedback...local services are long in Argentina, and dinner is afterwards - means start first segment of service at 5p, then mucho music, another service segment at 8p, dinner at 10:30p and back to hotel around 1am...but, Robert Barriger reports over 15 new churches will be starting curriculum... Barriger and Bronner hit it strong and the powerful word really hit home with the leaders and pastors... we meet Monday with representatives from other parts of Argentina, and start another conference on Tuesday... awesome! 3am here now...hopefully some photos tomorrow... grace-paul.

Montecito

Just finishing Ecuador tour, car ride over the Andes-3 hours from 12,600 feet to the ocean! Mountain road, cliffs, landslides, passed car that had gone over edge, wreckers trying to recover it with long cables, in ravine 1/4 mile down -
*They have published many CMN books here, tremendous quality, shipping to Spain, Venezuela, Colombia and El Salvador - Jimmy Cornejo and team are taking the word for men to their nation and others! This was a great time of strategizing, empowering men of influence to take it and run with it - it is theirs... they are used to most American ministries wanting to keep tight control...we want the word out to men - relationships...so, they are ready to run! Commissioning key men across the nation!
**Met key pastor from Salinas, he is leading men through curriculum - wanting to take his city!
*Ended up in little hippie throwback surf village on coast of Ecuador - Montecito - very funky - we are after this generation! It is in little enclaves like this that we will reach the young men who will influence the nations... Javier, Jimmy's son is 27 - has law degree, sharp young man, he is publishing the books...getting them into the secular bookstores where they are selling well - great vision to reach culture from the top down and from the bottom up...he is tremendous asset for his father and for us in the goal to reach ten million men, he's got it in his heart!
*ON way to Argentina, stopping in Dallas - house is up for sale - fully committed to the vision!

Friday Night - Cuenca

Spectacular night...just back to the hotel - commissioned 18 men in Jimmy Cornejo's church in Cuenca...one of the most infuential pastors in the nation, he is sending his top men to 10 different regions over next year to kick off the CMN men's movement in big way. They have been doing the Majoring in Men system for 4 years...now have over 200 men involved - He said the men's movement and marriage ministry has dramatically increased the size of his church...this is true of every church that really goes after men! I'll post photos as soon as they email them to me...other pastors were involved, key men in the nation...it's happening!
**travel notes - 1. I'm in an environmentally adapting hotel room, that means whatever temperature it is outside, the room is the same-inotherwords, no air, no heat - and it's cold outside. 2. Book all your own flights...got in to Ecuador, settled in bed after midnight last night, then had to get up at 5am to catch 7:30 flight to Cuenca, would have arrived at 8:30a, and the plan was to take me to hotel to rest, which I needed because I got no sleep, then flight was delayed 2 hours...travel is not easy, but seems to be only way to get anywhere...and, I love the friends here in cuenca! pc

Argentina, Juarez and London are on the horizon next few weeks...stay in prayer for us. John Arana headed to Central America next month, others on the move...taking the cities!
**Held strategy meetings with Suliasi Kurulo, mega-church planter from Fiji, fine tuning the strategies for third world nations...agreed that internet materials are very important, but every area also needs a team to visit, personally impact leaders with men's movement...personal contact and internet delivery...powerful strategic solution.
